Enter the Best of Summer Contest for a chance to win 10 hardcovers or 10 paperbacks and a LightWedge reading light!

Bookreporter.com kicked off its summer celebration by announcing the "Best of Summer" book selections in three categories: Hardcover, Paperback, and Suspense/Thriller Hardcover.

From June 6th to July 11th readers have a chance to win the books on the Best of Summer in Hardcover or Best of Summer in Paperback lists by emailing Contests@bookreporter.com with the answer to this question in 2-5 sentences:

"What 5 books are you most excited about reading this summer, and why?"

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

ELIGIBILITY: This contest is open only to legal U.S. residents residing in the 50 United States and Canada (excluding Quebec). The following persons and their dependents are not eligible to enter or win: employees of Bookreporter.com or The Book Report, Inc. and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of each of the above.

HOW TO WIN: The staff of Bookreporter.com will read all correctly submitted responses and will randomly choose 10 winners who answered the above contest topic and submitted their responses correctly. 5 winners will each receive a beach bag with the hardcover books listed on the Best of Summer in Hardcover list and a LightWedge reading light, which is perfect for travel. The list can be found at:

The other 5 winners will each receive a beach bag with the paperback books found on the Best of Summer in Paperback list and the NEW LightWedge reading light that is specially designed for paperback books, found at

The contest opens on June 6th at 9AM ET and closes on July 11, 2003. Entries must be received before 11:59PM ET on July 11, 2003. Bookreporter.com reserves the right to announce all entries and the winners on Bookreporter.com. In the event the Potential Winner is a Canadian resident, he/she (or, if winner is a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) will be required to correctly answer a time-limited skill testing mathematical question to be administered by mail to receive the book.

PRIZES: Bookreporter.com will notify the selected winners by July 18, 2003.The winners will have 30 days after notification to respond for collection of the prize. 5 winners will each receive a beach bag with the hardcover books listed on the Best of Summer in Hardcover list.
