I am looking forward to reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The boys are hugely entertaining, well-written, and I can't put them down. I partially can't put them down because I will only buy two books and I will be fighting my 33-year-old son and 11-year-old granddaughter on who gets to read it first.

Until I Find You by John Irving
Diane from Frankfurt, Germany
I'm looking forward to reading the book I received for my birthday recently --- Baudolino by Umberto Eco. I've read other books by Eco (The Name of the Rose and Foucault's Pendulum) and while they can be challenging reads, I find they are ultimately extremely rewarding. The character of Baudolino was described to me as a medieval Forrest Gump; I loved Forrest Gump and I am very interested in the Middle Ages, so this should be just the right thing.
After Baudolino I plan to do some longed-after reading in the Science Fiction and Fantasy genre, more specifically something by Ursula LeGuin or Charles DeLint.

I hope to read Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell. I've had a copy of the book since Christmas, but keep putting it off because it's so thick and there are so many other things I want to read. I'll have to make it a priority.
brownloft@yahoo.com
My list is quite long, but Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince definitely tops the list!
RCaruso@AxelJohnson.com
Well I have several on the agenda that I will try to tackle outdoors in the yard on a comfy lawn chair on weekends.
The Peabody Sisters: Three Women Who Ignited American Romanticism by Megan Marshall.
The Age of Conversation by Benedetta Craveri and Teresa Waugh (about women back in the French salon era).
Cicero: The Life and Times of Rome's Greatest Politician by Anthony Everitt (Cicero has just been quoted so many times in my reads, such as John Adams).
And I have thrown in A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby and our book group's choice of The Distant Land of My Father by Bo Caldwell.
So much for the beach reads!
