I definitely think that the big book of the summer, other than HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS, will be Janet Evanovich's new book, LEAN MEAN THIRTEEN. I am reading it now, and so far, it is the perfect summer read. It is extremely funny; her funniest book so far. I started laughing on the first page, and have not stopped yet! It is a great, light, fun summer read! I would recommend it to anyone who needs a lift. I have been reading all of P. J. Parrish's books and am currently on the next to last one in the series --- so far. Evanovich has certainly provided me a perfect departure from the darkness of the Parrish series. They are the best books I've read in a long time, but I needed a definite book to lighten the heart and mood, and Evanovich's latest has certainly done that!
