The 2008 Dilys Award


William Kent Krueger was awarded the 2008  Dilys Award for his most recent work of fiction, THUNDER BAY.  The Award, founded by the Independent Mystery Booksellers Association (IMBA), has been given to the year's top mystery titles since 1993 and is named in honor of Dilys Winn, the founder of the first specialty bookstore of mystery books in the United States.  Previous recipients include Louise Penny, Val McDermid, Robert Crais, Carl Hiassen, Dennis Lehane, Julia Spencer-Fleming, Jasper Fforde and Colin Cotterill.
