I found this book delightful, humorous and thought provoking. Cassie Shaw is a warm, witty, and inspiring character.

I would definitely read other books by these authors. I just purchased their first book, LITERACY AND LONGING IN L.A., because I enjoyed this novel so much.

I really enjoyed A VERSION OF THE TRUTH and am sorry the read is over. I have caught myself wondering what happened to the characters.
I think I caught myself many times laughing out loud in public with this book. It was while reading a "Samism.”

What did you think of A VERSION OF THE TRUTH?
I really enjoyed this book. I liked the idea that you can make yourself into what you want to be if you work at it. It reminds me of a favorite song by Sister Hazel: "If you want to be somebody else... change your mind.” I think many people wish they were someone else and are tempted to lie, though we all know that sooner or later we will be caught. I like that the character did change herself into the person she wanted to be, and that it was shown to be difficult, which is reality. The book was kind of empowering, making me think of who I'd like to be and how I might change myself. I could also relate because through the years, I have re-invented myself so that I am the person I want to be (mostly).

Yes, this was enjoyable so I'd read more by them.

What did you think of A VERSION OF THE TRUTH?
Although there were two authors, I only sensed one voice, which must be hard to achieve. I empathized with the problems of the protagonist. Her transformation was a delight to read.

What did you think of A VERSION OF THE TRUTH?
It made me think of Bridget Jones in America! The first few chapters were a little slow going, but after I got into it, I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen, and I finished most of it in one day. I liked that it gave the “wrap-up” with the characters a couple of years later. I was very happy with the book.

What did you think of A VERSION OF THE TRUTH?
I enjoyed this read very much. The characters in this story are enjoyable and complex from beginning to end. I especially loved the bird. It is nice to read a story about people who are a bit unique in this manner. I would love to see more stories with these characters; they held up well throughout the whole story and left me wanting more.

Yes, yes, yes. Especially if there are more with these same characters.
