No, this was my first.

What did you think of MRS. PERFECT?
This was a fun read for me, but I am a little older and have been through the child-rearing years. I'm giving this book to my daughter, who is just starting out with a first grader and a two year old. She is not a "Mrs. Perfect," but I'm sure she will love the story and will relate some of her friends to the characters in the book.
Would you ever read a future book by Jane Porter?
Yes, I would like to read ODD MOM OUT.
Jane from Gastonia, NC
Have you previously read a book by Jane Porter?
This is the first Jane Porter novel that I’ve read, but am already looking forward to reading ODD MOM OUT, as well as her future books.
What did you think of MRS. PERFECT?
I enjoyed it very much. At first, I did not find the main character, Taylor Young, at all sympathetic. However, as her situation evolved, so did her personality. I think Ms. Porter is a very talented writer and I particularly liked her use of the first-person narrative. Taylor really came to life in this book and I think that says a lot about the author.
Would you ever read a future book by Jane Porter?
I will add her books to my collection of novels by Barbara Delinsky, Nora Roberts, Madeline Hunter, Suzanne Enoch, and others.
Joan from Portland, OR
Have you previously read a book by Jane Porter?
I haven’t read any previous books by this author.
What other authors do you usually read?
I don’t read too much women’s fiction. I enjoy authors like Anne Tyler and Marian Keyes. I also like Diane Johnson’s books set in France.
What did you think of MRS. PERFECT?
It was no earth-shaking drama, but a complex story. I did enjoy this book, although the Pacific Northwest is where I live, so the setting wasn’t as brand new as I might have liked. The plot seems right out of today’s news, with talk of a recession and job losses. I wonder how the story would have worked if the main characters had more average incomes and lifestyles. Their expectations, lifestyle, and the struggles they experience did make the story dramatic and emphasized how well “Mrs. Perfect” coped.
Would you ever read a future book by Jane Porter?
I look forward to reading other books by this author.
Kay from Plattsburg, MO

What did you think of MRS. PERFECT?
It swept you into the story from the first page. I thought it was very appropriate for the times. Many people are going through similar situations. Loved it!
Would you ever read a future book by Jane Porter?

Melissa from LaFayette, GA
Have you previously read a book by Jane Porter?
Yes.
What other authors do you usually read?
I read too many to list them all: James Patterson, Terry Brooks, Laura Childs, Jane Austen, Stephenie Meyer, J. K. Rowling, Angie Sage, Nora Roberts, J. R. R. Tolkein, C. S. Lewis, Susan Cooper and Diane Duane.
What did you think of MRS. PERFECT?
I enjoyed it. It took me a little while to become invested in what happend to Taylor Young, but about a third of the way through, I found myself desperately hoping that Taylor could make it on her own.
Would you ever read a future book by Jane Porter?
Yes.
Susan from Pembroke Pines, FL
Have you previously read a book by Jane Porter?
No.
What other authors do you usually read?
I read Lee Child, James Patterson, Allison Brennan and Ken Follett.
What did you think of MRS. PERFECT?
In the beginning of the book, I thought I wouldn't be able to relate to Taylor, who is nothing like me, but I ended up liking the character and seeing that we're all not so different. When disaster hits, she is able to overcome the obstacles that she encounters and change her life. Jane Porter crafts her characters in such a way that you want to like them and find out more. I liked the book.
Would you ever read a future book by Jane Porter?
Yes. I am going to read ODD MOM OUT next.
Tracy from Nevada City, CA
