I've read the entire series thus far.

I like Jayne Ann Krentz, Catherine Coulter, Iris Johansen, and Linda Howard.

What did you think of CREATION IN DEATH?
I enjoyed the Rourke's perspective of the police investigation --- a civilian on the inside.I like how the characters continue to develop throughout the series.I also liked the "historical" slant to this book.

Would you ever read a future book by J. D. Robb?
Yes, I most likely will.

Jackie from Omaha, NE

Have you previously read a book by J. D. Robb?
This was my first book by J. D. Robb and definitely not my last. From the nice long list on the inside flap, I'll be looking forward to many more of her books.

What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
I love all types of books but suspense/thrillers are some of my favorites.I like James Rollins, Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, Michael Prescott and many more.

What did you think of CREATION IN DEATH?
I really enjoyed CREATION IN DEATH.It was a good, fast-paced mystery;the futuristic backdrop was a nice change of pace and I loved the main character, Detective Eve Dallas.

Would you ever read a future book by J. D. Robb?
As stated before, I can't wait to start on the list of her previous books. It’s always great when I find new authors I enjoy reading so much, more so when I realize I can look forward to many more of their books.

Judy from Marshalltown, IA

Have you previously read a book by J.D. Robb?
No, I have not previously read a J. D. Robb book. I've read a couple Nora Roberts's books, though.

What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
I read John Grisham, Lee Child, Greg Iles, Vince Flynn, Dennis Lehane, Sue Grafton, and MichaelConnelly.

What did you think of CREATION IN DEATH?
This is an extremely suspenseful police procedural. There were frequent plot twists, which made me want to keep reading into the night.I was intrigued by the fact that it took place in the year 2060, which allowedRobb to introduce much technology of the future.Especially interesting were the "droids" that served as servants for some of the characters. All and all, this was a compelling, satisfying read.

Would you ever read a future book by J. D. Robb?
Since this was my first J. D. Robb book, I was a little handicapped by not knowing the background and stories of some of the characters. These things were alluded to; but it was assumed that we, the readers, knew this information from reading her earlier books in this series.I guess I'll have to read more of her books to find out for myself.

Maureen from Parrish, FL

Have you previously read a book by J.D. Robb?
I have read other books in this series, but not all. There is quite a backlist and I have some in my to-be-read pile.

What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
My other favorite suspense/thriller writers are Dennis Lehane, Michael Connelly, James Patterson, Lee Child, Lisa Gardner, Elizabeth George, Karen Rose, and many more.I'll also read new authors if they write about topics of interest and get great reveiws.

What did you think of CREATION IN DEATH?
I very much enjoyed this book.I like her writing as Nora Roberts also and have read almost all of them.CREATION IN DEATH is another great installment in this series featuring Eve Dallas and Rourke. This is a very easy read and enjoyable.

Would you ever read a future book by J. D. Robb?
I enjoy this series and would definitely read more.

Shannon from Waterloo, IA

Have you previously read a book by J. D. Robb?
Yes, I've read the first 5 in the series.

What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
As a librarian, I read numerous authors.Currently, some of my favorites are Allison Brennan, Cody McFadyen, and Mariah Stewart. I'm reading a new author right now, J. T. Ellison, who is pretty good. His book is very similar to CREATION IN DEATH in the killer's victim choices.

What did you think of CREATION IN DEATH?
I enjoyed it.As I've only read the first 5 books in the series, I was not familiar with "the groom" but it was nice that all of the other characters were familiar to me.I enjoy these books because although they have the futuristic element, they don't smack of Science Fiction, of which I've never been a big fan.Robb writes a realistic bad guy and I am enamored by the relationship that Eve Dallas and Roarke have, as are so many others.

Would you ever read a future book by J. D. Robb?
Definitely.I plan to finish the other books that I have and read all future Eve Dallas books.

Susan from Hopkinton, MA

Have you previously read a book by J. D. Robb?
No, I had never read a book by J. D. Robb before.

What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
Other authors I enjoy are the Kellermans, Elizabeth George,Dennis Lehane, HarlanCoben, and P. D. James.

What did you think of CREATION IN DEATH?
Since I had never read a book in this series before, I was at first put off by the fact that it was set in the future. But, I found it easy to make the time transition because the "inventions" were not absurd --- and not too far off in our future.

I particularly liked the relationship between Eve Dallas and her billionaire husband, Roarke.I thought it interesting that his lifestyle/job became intertwined with the police when it became obvious that the Groom --- the serial killer --- was after Eve, and therefore the search for him became personal for both Roarke and Eve.While the storyline itself was gory and disgusting, the search for the killer was an intense page turner; the details of the torture imposed on the victims did not take away from the fast pace of the hunt for the Groom.

Would you ever read a future book by J. D. Robb?
Yes, I am interested in going back and reading more of the books in this series. I'd curious as to how Eve and Roarke meet and develop their relationship, which I assume is in the earlier books. I'd also like to read the first book about the Groom and how he is able to escape the net that Eve and Fennessy put down for him.

Tammy from Girard, PA

Have you previously read a book by J. D. Robb?
Yes! I've got all the others, and eagerly await each new title.

What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
I'm not sure if you'd consider them suspense/thrillers since the bookstores usually don't, but I do --- Charlaine Harris, James Rollins and Matthew Reilly.

What did you think of CREATION IN DEATH?
If I had to describe this book in 1 word, that word would be RIVETING. It caught my attention within the first few pages and held it; so much so that the family got tired of waiting for me to fix supper and someone decided to bring home McDonald's.

The mystery is very skillfully woven through the story with hints popping up here and there, but you don't really get a sense of who done it till nearly the end. You get to see Eve and Roarke's relationship deepened even further, as does Eve's and Feeney's.

The killer (The Groom) was actually one of the first cases Eve worked on as a detective, and he got away. Now he's back, and you could say that he's back with a vengeance. Nine years and at least 20 murders later, he comes back to where he started, but why? That's the question, and can Eve and crew stop him this time?

Would you ever read a future book by J. D. Robb?
Definitely!

Alexandra from Oakland, CA

Have you previously read a book by J. D. Robb?
No.

What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
Tess Gerritsen, Sandra Brown, Dan Brown and Robert Ludlum.

What did you think of CREATION IN DEATH?
I did not like the few futuristic books that I have read in the past. However, CREATION IN DEATH depicted the 'future' as believable.I can totally relate to Eve Dallas's world. Robb has given us a fascinating glimpse of how life could be like in a few decades, and it ain't so bad.She has crafted such vividly rich and likable characters that fuel the interest to read more about them. The touch of romance does not hurt either.

Would you ever read a future book by J. D. Robb?
Yes, I would definitely read a future book, as well as read the old installments in the In Death series.

Anita from Barnesville, GA

Have you previously read a book by J. D. Robb?

What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
James Patterson, Kathy Reichs, Elizabeth Lowell, Greg Iles and Karen Rose, just to name a few.

What did you think of CREATION IN DEATH?
I loved the book and couldn't put it down. I especially liked that it had a different twist to it.

Would you ever read a future book by J. D. Robb?
Yes, I try to read all the books that she writes, both as J. D. Robb, and as Nora Roberts. She is one of my favorite authors.

Carlton from Mt. Laurel, NJ

Have you previously read a book by J. D. Robb?
No, I have only read her as Nora Roberts.

What other suspense/thriller authors do you usually read?
Jeffery Deaver, Greg Iles, Harlan Coben,DouglasPreston and Lincoln Child, Jack Kerley, Tess Gerritsen, Robert Ludlum (when he was alive; I still reread the oldies) and Richard Montanari.

What did you think of CREATION IN DEATH?
Loved it! The Groom was one creepy killer. This book kept me up reading, which I haven't done in a while.

Would you ever read a future book by J. D. Robb?
Yes. Now I have to go back and start from the beginning!Great... more books for the TBR pile...lol.
