Have you previously read a book by Carla Neggers?
No, this was my first.

What other romantic suspense authors do you usually read?
I usually stay away from anything that says 'romance', but when coupled with suspense, I figured it was worth a try. I like to keep open to new authors and reading experiences. This is usually a good thing.

What did you think of COLD PURSUIT?
I loved it. It started off interesting and kept me going, wanting --- no, needing --- to find out what was happening next. I loved the way what was happening and all the different characters were wound together. This was one time when I figured it out earlier in the book and was not disappointed; I just waited for everyone else to find out what I already knew. This usually bothers me, but this time it was fun! I went through the book quickly.

Would you ever read a future book by Carla Neggers?
Yes. Do I smell a sequel? (please, please?)

I would truly enjoy another adventure with Jo and Elijah working together.

No. This is my first book by Carla Neggers and she is an amazing author, I must say...

What other romantic authors do you usually read?
I like Nora Roberts, Christina Dodd, Sandra Brown, Johanna Lindsey, Gaelen Foley and lots, lots more. I am an avid reader.

What did you think of COLD PURSUIT?
I personally loved it from the beginning to the very end. I found it hard to put down, and I was almost sad when it was over.

Would you ever read a future book by Carla Neggers?
Absolutely! I'm actually going this weekend to a local book store here to purchase anything I can find that she has written. I like how her story never got boring or dull, but it gave you just enough to keep you wanting more and all of the characters melted nicely together. You could actually see them just as she described them to be. Some books by other authors tend to get jumbled and the characters are so mixed matched that they are unbelievable, but I can honestly say that they never did in this story...

No, I have not read any other books by Carla Neggers.

What other romantic suspense authors do you usually read?
I started reading romance-suspense books years ago. I started with Phyllis A. Whitney and Victoria Holt. Beverly Barton, Iris Johansen, Sandra Brown, Lisa Gardner and Tami Hoag are currently my favorite authors.

What did you think of COLD PURSUIT?
I was delighted with Carla's writing. It is romantic-suspense with great intrigue and taunting sensuality. The characters were woven into a great adventure with lots of description, which makes a good read. This is a well-written novel.

I also liked the chemistry between Jo Harper and Elijah Cameron.

Would you ever read a future book by Carla Neggers?
This may have been my first time reading Carla Neggers's writings, but it won't be the last.

I really enjoy Karen Harper, Allison Brennan and Mariah Stewart for books with a similar feel.

What did you think of COLD PURSUIT?
I enjoyed it. The story between Elijah Cameron and Jo Harper was a nice, star-crossed Romeo-and-Juliet story but with more modern and exciting characters. If there was one thing that I didn't like about the book, it was the multitude of characters introduced, of which I had to keep track. I would certainly entertain reading a sequel to this book or a book that branches out on Grit's character, and I found him to be one of the more compelling characters in the book.

Would you ever read a future book by Carla Neggers?
Absolutely. Her new books are always on my to-read list already.
